Seminar on Innovative Solutions in Building Reinforcement

The seminar titled 'Innovative Solutions in Building Reinforcement', organized by the Department of Civil Engineering of the Faculty of Engineering and Architecture of our university, and attended by Civil Engineer (ITU) Mr. Ali BAYRAKTAR, who has approximately 40 years of engineering experience.

Mr. Ali BAYRAKTAR gave valuable information about the development process of structural engineering, earthquake formation and earthquake resistant building design in history in his speech. Mr. BAYRAKTAR explained the art of construction and earthquake engineering that have been developing since the Sumerians by using historical archives.

Ali BAYRAKTAR, one of the doyens of the subject of Building Reinforcement, emphasized to students that they should care about hydrogeology and geotechnical issues and also indicated the ways to become a good engineer.
